If you’ve ever been a New Orleans tourist, or you’re just a local who loves to make the most of our fine city, you know that Gambit Weekly is the place to go to find out what’s happing in New Orleans. That’s why we were so excited when Gambit reporter, Nora McGunnigle, asked to interview NOLA Brew Bus owner, Matt Marsiglia.
Gambit quotes Matt as saying:
“I want to bring the experience that tour guides give in the French Quarter to my tour, except it will be beer-centric.” Marsiglia says. “I want them to get off the bus and say ‘Wow. New Orleans is a bad-ass beer city.’”
They go on to explain the tour schedule, mention some of the Brew Bus’ New Orleans Brewery partners, and remind folks that the Bus isn’t just only for the beer loving New Orleans tourist, but for locals as well:
“The four-hour tours include visits to three of four breweries: NOLA Brewing Company, Urban South Brewery, Second Line Brewing and The Courtyard Brewery. The breweries visited rotate each day and are listed on the company website. Marsiglia would like to add a downtown tour once 40 Arpent Brewing Company’s taproom and Parleaux Beer Lab and Brieux Carre open for business. A Northshore brewery tour also is possible …Marsiglia hopes to attract New Orleanians to a monthly “Local’s Night” which will feature neighborhood pub crawls.”
