With so many beer events and happenings across the city it can be hard to keep up! Don’t fret, we’ve got your back.

We’ve got a running list of beer events so you can plan in advance, and we’re also going to do a deep dive each week on what the week ahead will bring.

Special Events

Gleason Tailgate Watch Party

Port Orleans released their new Gleason IPA last weekend, a hazy New-England style IPA, benefiting Team Gleason.

Steve and the Team will be at the brewery on Saturday before the Saints game for the official Gleason IPA release. There will also be Gleason swag being raffled off with the purchase of a Gleason IPA. The event kicks off Saturday at 3pm.

Proceeds from every pint or 6-pack sold are donated to Team Gleason and their mission to provide technology, equipment, care, and adventures for people living with ALS.

Brewsiana Festival

Every year the House of Blues hosts Brewsiana, a craft beer and music festival. This year the event boasts 5 bands, 17 local breweries, 45 different beers, along with various games, prizes, and more. Entry starts at $10, with tasting wristbands starting at $15. The fun starts on Saturday at 6pm.

Indoor Art Market at Wayward Owl

Each month Wayward Owl Brewing Company hosts an indoor art market featuring various local vendors, and this month’s is on Saturday from 3-8pm. The event will feature live music, an arepas pop-up, free face painting for kids, and of course cold and delicious beer.

Saints Watch Party at Urban South

Swing by Urban South for special pregame events to benefit the New Orleans Bulldog Rescue. “Tailgating” starts at 4pm Saturday. Game & sound start at 7pm.

Order of the Garter Release

Broad Street Cider and Ale is releasing their newest cider, Order of the Garter. This new cider has a large amount of hibiscus tea with a floral taste. Snag this starting Saturday at 1pm.

The Brewer’s Cup Goldsprints

Rouler Cycling is partnering with local breweries and bringing their Goldsprints around the city to raise move to fight pediatric cancer. It’s free to watch/heckle, and only $5 to race. This week they are visiting Parleaux Beer Lab on Wednesday from 7-10pm.

National Dog Day at Second Line Brewing

Sunday is National Pup Day! In honor of this, Second Line is hosting an event in their dog-friendly beer garden that will include various giveaways. The event kicks off Sunday at 3pm.
